I have been running SuSE 9.0 fine for about a month and have been using YaST to update packages for security errors etc.WelllastnightI accepted the upgrade of gtk2 to 2.2.2.3.36 and it seemed to install fine, famous last words! When I powered up the laptop this morning and logged into Gnome I get lots of error messages about not being able to load various png files - 'Details: Couldn't recognize the image file format for file .... blah.png So the system has 'forgotten' how to deal with png files I guess, how do I get it recognize them again ? I didn't change either libpng (libpng-1.2.5-97) or gdk-pixbuf (gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0-488).Ihavesincetriedusinganupgradedgdk-pixbuf and libpng but it didn't make any difference. Anyone any ideas what the gtk upgrade has done and how to get it to recognize png files again ? Thanks in advance __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
