I have had problems with my KSCD here in SuSE 8.2 Linux. It was started every time I have booted my computer up, and as such it has searched for a media in the drive making 100's of lines in my messages logfile. If I had no media in the drive, KSCD did claim about the lack of a media, and this also was repeated a huge in the messages logfile. I did a killall kscd, and went out of KDE. Then this kscd behaviour stopped, and the computer speeded up. But now if I have an audio-cd in the drive, I cannot get kscd to come up. How can I tackle this ?. Its kscd on if an audio-media is in the drive, and kscd shall be switched off if the audio-media has been removed again. -- Med venlig hilsen - Best regards. Erik Jakobsen - eja@urbakken.dk.
