I have a 3Com Impact IQ ISDN modem and am unable to find info on the S-registers along w/the probable & possible contents might/should be. Can anyone help me with this? I have a Gateway 300L running 9 Pro and it keeps giving me bad bit errors. The connection times out at 'logging onto network'. I contacted my ISP and was able to determine that the error is completely on my end. Their logs showed a normal session, though short. The relevant part appears below, and repeats itself whenever I attempt to connect: Jan 16 21:34:38 linux pppd[1726]: Plugin passwordfd.so loaded.
