Hi guys
Another problem I have:
I use transcode --import_v4l [Channel Number],[Channel Name] to record from my tv card.
The problem is: I don't know where to get the channel number. I tried transcode --import_v4l 0,[Channel Name] and the result is: It records always from the same channel. The channel names i read from the .xawtv file.
If I put the number, which I see in xawtv (right mouse click on the screen) as parameter transcode says: invalid number or something like that.
On the transcode website there is no documentation about the --import_v4l parameter.
Has anybody some informations about this?
Thanks in advance
Samuel
Well this works OK for me (transcode-0.6.13, kernel 2.4.21-166-athlon, SuSE Pro 9.0, bttv09): transcode -i /dev/video0 -p /dev/dsp -V -u 100 -g 720x576 -f 0,3 \ -y ffmpeg -F mpeg4 --import_v4l 0,"BBC1" -x v4l=yuv422 -o "/DATA/ video1.avi" Switching from "BBC1" to "BBC2" etc works OK too, and names are exactly as per .xawtv.
