When inserted in USB port, SuSE 9.0 recognizes the camera (write is model name in YaSYs hardware overview), and provides a icon on the desktop that opens GnomeMeeting. But then what? Don't know if SuSE allready has the driver for my camera.
I use the 3000, which works great Run /sbin/lsmod to see if the pwc module is loaded, if it is, then it's got the right driver loaded :) You can get the full range of resolutions supported by the camera by adding the pwcx module from that site. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0) GNOME updates for SuSE: http://www.usr-local-bin.org
