Hi All, Major problems here. First off I will ask my question, then I will give an explanation. I need to know how to install GRUB to a diskette so I can boot my installed systems from that source. OK, here's my woes: Since I was having this stupid boot loop problem (even for XP) I figured maybe I had monkeyed with things too much and the mbr was goofed up. So I did a low level format using PawerMax. Then reinstalled everything from scratch the way I know I wanted it. Problems: #1 I still have that stupid boot loop problem (hence the floppy route) #2 My CD burner did not show up this time - but my DVD did just fine. I did add another FAT drive at the end of the first drive (1st drive XP/SuSE/Swap/FAT32 - 2nd drive FAT32/FAT32/FAT32). This shouldn't make a difference should it? I need to know how to get it back. #3 I have no internet now. Comcast just upgraded my cable modem from an RCA to a TERAYON. I personally do not see how this makes a difference but who knows. Knoppix 3.3 live CD still sees the net, so I don't see why SuSE doesn't. I definately need this fixed. Anyway, these problems can be dealt with one on one (in their own subject). This is just a heads up that I will be needing help on, but first things first. I need to be able to boot to SuSE first. Right now the only way to get there is to boot to the install CD and choosing "boot to installed version". Thanks Russ
