How solid is the support in X for the G450 or G550? Probably the G450 would be the one I'd look into, as I've read a bit and there doesn't seem to be much of a speed difference between the two in 2D, and the price difference is $88 vs. $103. I just want glitch-free operation out of the box and excellent high resolution support, something the nvidia cards don't seem to do very well. The last time I used 3D was playing Wolfenstein, and that was over a year ago. :)
