I looked at the README in /pub/people/kraxel, which says to upgrade three base packages before installing the 2.6 kernel RPM. I see two of them in /pub/people/kraxel/9.0-i386/i586, but not aaa_base. Is that a temporary shortcoming, or is there somewhere else I could get it?
Warning, I don't have 9.0 (I have 8.2), but AFAIK the aaa_base in 9.0 is ready for 2.6. It needed replaced in 8.2 because of a newer mkinitrd script. In 8.2, this was actually split into 2 packages. I'm not sure what 3 packages you mention, but if it is modutils, mkinitrd, and aaa_base, I believe those are only needed for 8.2. I think all are 2.6 ready in 9.0. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
