I tried to install memprof on SuSE 9.0, and it immediately dies with an error of libmemintercept.so not found. I can't find a mention of libmemintercept anywhere in the 9.0 rpm database, so it looks like SuSE shipped a useless memprof package.
Yes, the package is broken. I'll see that I can get a fixed package being made available.
Does anyone know why SuSE did this?
The package built correctly and no one seems to have tested it.
I'll build from source if necessary, but I don't want to waste my time if there's an issue with memintercept.
There's a bug in the sources or rather in the configuration stuff so a patch
would be needed to fix this issue.
