Dear All,
Thanks for the kavi2svcd advice. I finally got it installed and I like the looks of it. I placed my mpeg into it to turn into vcd and it supposedly did so successfully , but I cannot find the file. I even chose the destination file, but just cannot find it. I need to find it of course so that I can burn it with K3b. Any ideas here? Here is the log in case anyone wishes to look at it: [...] I have no sound purposely in this video . If anyone understands how to work the kavi2svcd very well I would love to know how you do it.
Thanks.

Marcia, Actually, you can let kavi2svcd burn your svcd as it converts it. That's the real handy part of it! That's what I did for the one I tried. There is a bit of tweaking with the command, but contact me off list and I will try to help with that. I haven't installed it yet with 9.0, but am planning too.
