Greetings I've spent much time in Google and mozilla.org. I've found no reference to this. Is it possible that there is no way to remove an entry from the mozilla address book? (both 1.4 and 1.5). TIA&Cheers
Does the delete button not work for you? It works fine in mine (1.5). <snip>
Aha, something else is wrong. I have no delete button! When I press the address book button, I only have New and Edit choices on the left-hand side.
This confuses me a little but I think I may know where you are at, please correct me if I am wrong. The address book button you seem to be referring to is the one that appears at the top of an email that you are creating (composing). Correct? If so you are right, the only thing you can do there is edit/create. However, if you go to the menu bar and select Window ---> Address Book (or just press CTRL-5) then a new window will pop up with all of the editing (including delete) functions available. Be aware that you may have more than one list (i.e. Personal and collected) so choose the appropriate one. HTH, D.C.
Sometimes my stupidity finds ways to impress me. Thanks. I never paid much attention to the Window menu. Now I also know that the fourth icon on the bottom left also gets me there.
