I'm trying to install 9.0 on my Picturebook and not having much luck. This is one of those jobbies that has the Transmeta Crusoe. So, depending on which application is looking at it and the alignment of the stars and whether I got out of bed left or right foot first, it's either detected as an i586 or i686. This time it's both (as a note neither 8.1 nor 8.2 exhibited this problem). The install fires off just fine. However, halfway through CD1, it attempts to install glibc-i686. This fails miserably b/c YaST2 complains that the computer is not an i686. So, in the installer, is there any way to force it to believe that it's a particular architecture instead of letting it guess? As always, thanks in advance... --Jerry -- "So remember kids, eat meat.
