Problems outputting the results of a CPIO task via cron?

Hi, I have a line as follows set up in my crontab to automatically back the content of certain directories up: find /home /usr -depth -print | cpio -ocvB -O /dev/st0 > backup_log When this runs it creates the file backup_log under root but doesn't add the listings for the files it has backed up. I have tried apending the listing to the file (>>) but still it won't add the listings??? What am I doing wrong? Somebody plz help. Cheers DB
