thats right, Sendmail will place emails on /var/spool/mail pool, but there is no general rule on procmail, and the users are having problem since the sendmail patch!! do you think some other thing can affect this? David Jerry Feldman wrote:

Specify your mail reader and if you are using procmail. Sendmail only places email into the standard spool (/var/spool/mail/<user name> Procmail moves email to folders based on your specifications in ~/.procmailrc and your email program can do the same. - -- Jerry Feldman
