I've tried everything I can think of in all sorts of ways and I still cannot get 3D running on my Linux 8.2 system I bought two weeks ago. SuSE tech support doesnt want to deal with it and will NOT even give me over to PAID support so I can get this problem solved.
It appears this stuff is just not compatible with my Compaq 6029US and my ATI All In Wonder 8500 card.
WindowsXP I got running in one evening. It has been two solid weeks and I still cant get this Linux crap to work properly.
If you think I'm going to waste money on any more SuSE products, you gotta be outta your mind.

Nice rant.... but you are talking to a mailing list of *VERY* helpful volunteers here who don't make a penny off of you whether you choose to buy SuSE or not. So making such statements don't really affect us one way or another. I see that others have offered to help you. I hope you take them up on it. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S.
