Hello,
This is the second attempt to post my question. Sorry about that. I try to connect to a PDA over USB and it just does not work.
I am using Suse 8.2 with a 2.4.21 Kernel.
What I did so far:
Hi einar, I'm not sure if you simply want to connect to the desktop or hangout on the lan. This should verify the ability to connect to the desktop prior to making anything permanent. Zaurus IP address will be: 192.168.129.201 To determine if usb is up: ifconfig -a The usbnet module appears to have some problems with the zaurus so I always 'ls mod usbdnet'. It should load with warnings. Make sure usbdnet is loaded: lsmod If not, than: modprobe usbdnet Setup usb0: ifconfig usb0 192.168.129.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 up route add -host 192.168.129.201 usb0 Test by: ping 192.168.129.201 NOTE: The Zaurus may have to be rebooted 1) Open up console 2) type 'reboot' and hit enter -- SuSE 8.2 - KDE 3.1.3
