Procmail can forward the email very easily. Look at the procmailex man page- Here is one example: Forward all mail from peter about compilers to william (and keep a copy of it here in petcompil).
:0 * ^From.*peter * ^Subject:.*compilers { :0 c ! william@somewhere.edu
:0 petcompil }
My problems with procmail are: - How do you handle the situation where the mail is sent to multiple people whom I need to forward the email to, or put into a cyrus mailbox. - What happens when the users email address is in a CC or BCC header There are probably more, I just can't think of them right now.
