Thnks for the reply As I remember it was not showing any nameserver info. I/we edited it and set the correct nameserver IP#s. I know this because I missed typed nameserver and had to correct it. Does not work correctly when spelled "namserver" Patrick Shanahan wrote:

Hey Group:
I have been working on a system that will not DHCP to the internet. This has been tracked to a IRQ problem between alsa VIA8233 and eth0 RTL8139too. Likely this is a problem with Plug and Play.
Post your /etc/resolv.conf. Major clue there.
