-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Ok, I have been trying to pretty up my menus and I do a search for <pick an app>. I first do something like "locate foo.xpm" and see if I get a return. Then I do a "locate foo.png" and if that doesn't turn up anything. If not them a just do a wider search for "locate foo" and look for icon extensions. I have found a few icons to say the least. But I have run in to a situation wherein no *,xpm/.png exists but a *.desktop does. Looking at this it looks like an icon to me! But try to change the extension from *.desktop to *.xpm (or ,png) and it almost always turns into a generic/broken file page symbol/icon. So,... What is the difference that make a *.desktop unique/special compared to a more common *.xpm/.png extensions? TIA, Curtis. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+s/Tz7WVLiDrqeksRArZAAJ0avNs9xAeHasdbb4ogwaZAisERXgCfYOke GkqINLfPYlaU+wtD/QBnl68= =oicI -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
