The way I'm reading this, is you're saying you're sorry he's an American. If this is so, I'm just sorry there's people like you who foul the air we breathe with your presence and have to stoop to crap like what you posted. In my seven or eight years of using computers, you're the *second* person I've ever plonked/filtered out, and what saddens me the worst is that other one was in this mailing list too, of which I am very proud to be able to read and once in a while try to contribute or ask for help. <sigh>
I saw the line in his message and couldn't resist the humor. It wasf a tongue in cheek response to a thread that has gone on way to long. Assuming he's an american I'm glad for him as he seems well adjusted and socially responsible. The flipside of my comment is related to the fact that I'm an american and feel disappointed that when people in the future look back at american culture I'll be judged by the actions of my government and a society that lives by the ideal that he with the bigger stick has the right and obligation to do whatever they want. Thanks, I've never been plonked before :-) see ya - -- dh Don't shop at GoogleGear.com! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+lDVMBwgxlylUsJARAv9KAKCafN7yd3Cor0gFEFSysv6xFL5TYQCfYGd2 mlFcwujPkvbfQggCXQjohCE= =TGU5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
