Hello, everyone. I am having real problems getting printing to work here. I have a SuSE 8.1 Pro server and three W2K clients. An HPDJ960C is hooked up to lp0/LPT1, and configured via yast2/CUPS. Local printing from the server works great. However, the three machines connecting via Samba shares all show "Access denied, unable to connect" in the printers window. In the cupsd.conf I have added "Allow From @LOCAL" to the / and /admin locations. I can now access the admin web page remotely, but there seems to be nothing there related to security. I have made sure that "printcap name = cups" and "printing = cups" are both set in the smb.conf file, as per the directions in the CUPS documentation. The Samba server is acting as a PDC. The error implies to me that the problem is permissions related, but I can't work out where the permissions are blocking access. I have file access to all my shared drives, so the user accounts seem to be working OK. There are no clues in the CUPS log files, although it is only set up to log at the info level right now. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks, Stuart.
