Ok mozilla experts! I've been trying to get my mozilla to use an *external* mail program, namely, Evolution, and it's just plain not working. :( man evolution brings up this option (and it works for konq settings) evolution mailto:<address> (konq = evolution mailto:%t) :) Now, customizing mozilla is quite a different story. First, they don't want you using a different client at all, so they don't give you an option to do so. You have to manually edit the prefs.js (or user.js if you want major customizations) file under your ~/.mozilla/... directory. You have to tell it that you want mail to call an external program, then you have to tell it what program, and then you have to parse out arguments of the mailto link... Below, I've posted some links to explain the procedure, however, I haven't been able to get it to work yet! >:( Has anyone else tried to do this, or been successful with it? If so, please enlighten me as to how. (hopefully, specifically for Evolution) http://www.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&threadm=MMIVxWCoBjCv-pn2-zIWZIJF5Uu5b%40localhost&rnum=1&prev=/groups%3Fhl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26selm%3DMMIVxWCoBjCv-pn2-zIWZIJF5Uu5b%2540localhost Thanks! -- Travis
