I'm running SuSE 8.0, and I thought that after an hour or so, the program would send a black screen. I seem to remember that it did. (I don't use Linux very often, even tho I would like to, because my hardware is simply not up to the complexity of Linux 8. It's just too slow.) When I booted up Linux today, and I opened the KMail program, I sent a message and then minimized the KMail. When I came back 4 hours later, the screen was still active. When I came back 9 hours later, the whole thing had hung up. I had to use the 3-finger salute. Here I am in Windows again . . . . This is a 166 MHz Pentium with 64 MB ram. Yes, I have antother machine, but it's not yet properly configured. It's an 800 MHz Athlon. Someday . . . . So did the machine crash, or is the black screen-saver not implemented anymore, or what?
