I would just open the /etc/inetd.conf file and block all those ports where I do not want entry, at least that is what I do. Linux Mail wrote:

How can I configure personal firewall? (From YAST and otherwise). I want to block port 80 (initially) as I am not running a webserver.
1. Personal firewall will block everything, you don't have to configure it, just start it.
2. If you're not running a web server there's really no need to "block" port 80. If there isn't a program listening to the port, the greatest cracker in the world couldn't get in.
