Are you using the one that came on the SuSE disks, or the one at:
http://www.usr-local-bin.org/gftp.php
I'm using that one and have had no problems with it. It's built for Gnome2 while the one on SuSE disks use Gnome 1.x libs. (I *think*, I may be wrong.) At any rate, I use this one quite regularly with no probs.

Hi i was using the one from the 8.1 cd's. I searched fro gftp on google and found the seul site, downloaded 2.0.14 from there and no probs now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Steve.
