Now, upon reboot, it tries to load the ::graphical login and immediately sends the monitor into "Frequency ::over-range" mode, thus freaking out the KVM. I can usually get around it ::by bouncing to another virtual console, but I have to power cycle the KVM. ::Every time I power cycle the KVM, the stupid Windows 2000 Server then ::forgets that the mouse is attached. heh. :: ::So yes, if there's an easy way to kill the graphical login altogether, I'd ::love to hear it. If it's been mentioned already, I apologize - I missed ::it. Been slow with catching up on email... :: Ok. So shutdown KDM for a bit and change the horizontal and vertical refresh rates so they match what your monitor can do. Once this is done ..it won't matter if it's listed or not. You can override whatever the settings are. My monitor is a 21's Sun Monitor that's made by Sony. It's not listed either but I plugin the correct values and it works like a charm. :) -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe..
