Good day Dominic,
Running SuSE 8.1 -- have the login screen set to non-graphical, but how do I get rid of the crazy SuSE "bitmap" background? I simply want the system to boot to a "normal" terminal screen -- green base text, black background, some text is colored -- directories, binaries, etc.
I *think* you can just remove the 'vga=<something>' parameter that the boot loader passes to the kernel. Best regards :o) Johnny :o)
