PBVC> Today I d/led a new RPM for KSETIWatch 2.5.1 to replace 2.5.0. I found it in PBVC> Konqi and clicked it; Konqi then went to its new RPM display of the RPM. Very PBVC> Nice feature!. Now Konqi offers a "Install RPM via YAST" button. So I clicked PBVC> it and YAST takes off and eventually asks for CD2 of the 8.1 install media, PBVC> so I put it in and let YAST RPM Install finish. We had the same problem when we went to www.realvnc.com using Konqueror and were going to download the most recent RPM. When we clicked on the RPM link there was a button that said, "Install Package with Yast". Yast asked for the CDRom and installed the CDRom version of VNC. Under Konqueror Settings -> Configure Konqueror -> File Associations -> application -> x-rpm the Embedding tab, Services Preference Order show "KRPMView". There must be a problem with KRPMView and Yast2 under SuSE 8.1. When the "Install Package with Yast" button is clicked it is NOT installing from the RPM that was downloaded by the File Manager to the tmp directory. -- __________________________ DJ mailto: linux_programmer@hotmail.com
