Hi everyone!
anyone to have installed the microtek sm3600 scanner on suse 8? because i can load the module, but nothing happens... and the info on the page http://sm3600.sourceforge.net a little bit old because this module is already part of the "scanner" module
any ideas?
There were quite a few posts on this a few days ago. I'm assuming you are using SuSE 8.0. What exactly is the problem? What util are you using to retrieve the scan? How are you sure you can "load the module"? Just to make sure you actually have the module (e.g., SuSE 8.1 doesn't), run 'rpm -ql sane-backends | grep smb3600' and post the output.
I have a little lan and i want to share the same conection to internet using an adsl conection, how can i share the ip?
What you want is NAT, or, as it is more commonly known in the Linux
world, IP Masquerading.

.. I'm not sure if there is a YaST2 tool to do this.
