Yes, it seems 8.1 breaks it, but I grabbed the glibc2 binaries here -- they work fine. http://www.covalent.net/projects/comanche/downloads/?PHPSESSID=9ae7cf5d76c3d 0d2f1fe5c23977249f1 Cheers, Dominic ----- Original Message ----- From: <poeml@cmdline.net> To: <suse-linux-e@suse.com> Sent: Friday, November 01, 2002 12:26 PM Subject: Re: [SLE] Comanche start up failure

Hello,
I have just install comanche -- when I try to start comance, it launches and quits abruptly.
I have read on the suse kb that comanche has a start up problem with in 8.0, but no info on 8.1. Additionally, the patch listed (on the 8.0 kb) is for an older version of comanche.
Also looked in the list archives, but did not see anything...
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
On 8.1 it broke with the new tcl/itcl (don't know which one exactly, I believe the latter). There is no fix in sight. Sorry about the bad news.
