I am wondering why SuSE company does not want to provide to French customers a Frecnh version of its SuSE Linux Packages ?
As far as I know, there is a SuSE version for : -> German speaking countries -> English speaking countries -> Italian speaking countries -> Spanish speaking countries -> Czech (?) speaking countries -> Magyard speaking countries
Is the French Market less profitable than Hungary Market ?
Since SuSE does not provide a French version of its distros, lot of French speaking customers switched to Redhat (I.E : Switzerland, France, Belgium, East of Canada...)
Could a SuSE employee tell me why a such choice ?
I'm not a SuSE employee, but I know this started when the SuSE french company was closed (sorry if I don't use the proper words), after 7.2. It is particularly annoying for StarOffice / OpenOffice and they have no excuse for that, as the translation already exists, they just had to package it. I share your exasperation... - -- Thibaut Cousin E-mail : cousin@in2p3.fr Web : http://clrwww.in2p3.fr -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9x3eVv1vqsTa1E4oRAkVGAJ9CuKK6HjGPAwDL21L9N68CaJbo0ACgt97h npOQyEWjabmp0fzRWGBGXxQ= =k7Fo -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
