Hail LIst! I've tried to put 5 usb modems on a SuSE 7.3 (kernel 2.4.18)! The first four went well as /dev/ttyACM0-3! When i've plugged in the next one ... /var/log/allmessage announced me: "Nov 2 13:04:57 test kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/1/5, assigned device number 10 Nov 2 13:04:57 test kernel: ttyACM4: USB ACM device" but when i'tried cu -l /dev/ttyACM4 ... no such file or directory... because there is no /dev/ttyACM4!!! so... is there a limitation to only 4 ACM devices?? How can i install more then 4 devices? Danke! -- ing. Adrian Costescu
