Hi Yes, change the fstab according to changed IDE order. Also remember to change lilo if You change the boot-HD channel. But that one is a bit tricky... You need to first change the drives, then boot from CD->boot installed system, and edit lilo.conf from HD, then run "lilo". Lilo changes is needed for to be able to boot from the "new" drive. Jaska. A quick question. If I swap a couple of my PCI cards around do I need to re-run any configuration scripts or will the system automatically detect the new PCI bus addressed for my cards?
What is the procedure for swapping IDE connections, i.e. IDE0 master -> IDE1 slave, etc... Is changing the links under/dev/ sufficient or do I need to make additional changes to my system?
