Hi.
I have just used YaST2 to do (for the first time) an automatic online update of SuSE 8.0.
Afterwards (and following a reboot), I found that the KPPP app which I normally use for connecting to the Internet wouldn't connect any more, because the YaST2 online updating process had resulted in the total deletion of one of the necessary files (/etc/ppp/peers/kppp).
I don't think I'll have much difficulty in re-creating the missing file -- but meanwhile I'm just a bit worried about what ELSE YaST2 may have stolen!
Anyone had any similar experiences?

Yes! Only I didn't know *what* was wrong. If you get kppp working again, *please*...tell us how you did it, so I can get mine back too. Thanks!! John B
