Thank you very much for the link The only one question left is how to make raw device for dvd access. What are the major and minor numbers for this device? Why xine needs to access dvd as a raw device?
A bunch of "raw" devices are already created in /dev/raw/ and the one you want is /dev/raw/raw1 probably. If you don't know how to set them up, here it is: 1) In /etc/raw, add a line: raw1:dvd where dvd is for /dev/dvd (it could be hdc, sr0, etc, for you). 2) Create a symlink rdvd: ln -s /dev/raw/raw1 /dev/rdvd 3) Give user permissions on rdvd to the user. For this, add in /etc/logindevperm: :0 600 /dev/rdvd 4) In YaST2, activate the "raw" script at boottime (runlevel editor). 5) Reboot, or if your uptime is important, logout, launch "rcraw start" as root and login again.
