Posibly because it was entered as a reply to another mail, and then edited. You can find that out if you look carefully at the headers (view source in mozilla), and find: References: <20021020134639.C078314507@Cantor.suse.de> <20021020135842.GB3211@wahoo.no-ip.org> which are, if I'm not mistaken, the id of the previous email(s).
I've seen this kind of stuff alot on this list, is something wrong with mozilla-messenger wich i'm using or do people post in some sort of wrong way to this list?
