Problem is solved. Started looking closer and seen that Plugger was not installed as it was before. ImageMagic does the trick, but I will miss having the pictures come up in netscape itself.

edit->preferences->Navigator->Applications. Look for either "JPEG image" or "image/jpeg" and make sure it's set to "Handle by Navigator". Then you'll get the pictures inside the browser. Anders
