Hi, guys.. I'm running SuSE 8.0 Personal in Dell Inspiron 5000e(notebook). I have a problem with the Internet connection. I'm using a Cable modem and Kingston KNE-PC2 Ethernet Card. I'm sure that the Cable modem, it works well in Windows2000. I just installed SuSE and configured "Network Card Configurations in Network/Basics". Then, I rebooted the com....Yep, when I tried KInternet, error messages showed up. Is there anyone who can tell me how to fix this problem. BTW, do I need to configure a cable modem itself in "Modem Configuration in Network/Bascis" ? These are some messages that I could get, /var/log/messages Sep 7 13:19:18 linux cardmgr[618]: could not adjust resource: IO ports 0xa00-0xaff: Device or resource busy Sep 7 13:19:18 linux kernel: cs: IO port probe 0x0c00-0x0cff: clean.
