your are making a wrong query to refresh the rpm commands either do man rpm or http://susefaq.sourceforge.net/articles/rpm.html
you are right Togan. I searched over and i used the following pipe: # rpm -qa | grep -E "^NVIDIA" NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2960 NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-2960 It seems the packages are properly installed. But still i have problems with X configuration with SAX2. The message i get is: XFree86 Startup Protocol File XFree86 Version 4.2.0 / X Window System (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600) Release Date: 23 January 2002 If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is newer than the above date, look for a newer version before reporting problems.
