has anyone figured out which of the myriad of yast2 .rpm's contains the 'change source of installation' module, so I can manually update yast2 to restore my FTP installation ability?
Wouldn't be nice to visit our mothers from time to time? I mean, we have SuSE 8.0 from SuSE. We should visit them more often, at least the SuSE Support Database section ;) If you go to www.suse.com and select Support Database on the left, then History - Recent changes, you will see on 16th of July (2 weeks ago) the following article: Adding FTP to YaST2 as Installation Source For your convenience, here is the link: http://sdb.suse.de/sdb/en/html/yast2_ftp80.html Have fun, Dan. -- Binaries might die, but source code lives forever
