Cups or lprng? Is it hooked to your paralel port? Is your paralel port set up in CMOS as SPP, EPP, or ECP? Assuming your printer like to talk and not just listen (i.e. communicate status, etc., not just print), it needs to be at least EPP. I had no problems, so to help we need more info. BTW, there is an updated Yast2 cups module, have you got it?
It is EPP, Yast2 give a message: "No parallel device ( /dev/lp? ) founded. It seems that your parallel port is not properly configured" well ls -al /dev/lp? /dev/lp1 /dev/lp2 /dev/lp3 any suggestion will be rally appreciate. Jul
