Hi! I've installed SuSE 8.0 on my HP Omnibook 6000 laptop, one of the most painless Linux installations I've ever done, works like a charm...:-) Except the darn 3com modem of course...:-( I installed VmWare 3.1.1 in SuSE but when I run the vmware-config.pl as root this happens: --- What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] /usr/include The directory of kernel headers (version 2.4.17) does not match your running kernel (version 2.4.18-4GB). Even if the module were to compile successfully, it would not load into the running kernel. What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include --- This is something I have seen before but I can't for the life of me remember what I have to do to fix it, the doc's don't give any clue (I know my brain should but hey; it's summer, the heat is killing me...:o). Can some one help me out on this one? Thank's in advance! Cheers, Helgi Örn -- ~~~~ http://www.sacred-eagle.com/ ~~~~ ~~~~~~ Gnupg signature ID 83AC4814 ~~~~~
