* Scott;
I am adding virtual hosts to our new Suse box, moving over from FreeBSD. I would like to maintain the Suse config as much as possible. With that in mind I understand that if I want to add a VirtualHost I should do it in: /etc/httpd/modules. Can someone point me to the format for the Variable name? ie, it uses HTTPD_SEC_PUBLIC_HTML for the public html option or can I just make a file for the virtual hosts using this format:
look for this part in your /etc/sysconfig/apache # # Here you can name files, separated by spaces, that should be Include'd # from # httpd.conf. # # This allows you to add e.g. VirtualHost statements without touching # /etc/httpd/httpd.conf itself, which means that SuSEconfig will # continue doing its # job (since it would not touch httpd.conf any longer as soon it detects # changes # made by the admin via the md5sum mechanism) # HTTPD_CONF_INCLUDE_FILES="/etc/httpd/susefaq.conf" make sure you have the correct location of your configuration file after that run /sbin/SuSEconfig --module apache and rcapache restart Hope this helps -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx
