I'd try setting up your FTP server with anonymous login enabled.
I am trying to setup 7.3 Pro onto a machine that has no CD-ROM (I may = just buy one). I am trying to use the FTP install to get the files from = the FTP server on my XP Pro workstation.
From the logs on the XP, I can see that it is trying to access what I = believe is the right directory (Ddrive is my resource name for the = CD-ROM), (originally it was looking for Ddrive/suse/images/root which is = not on CD1).

If I try a manual FTP with the command 'get Ddrive/suse/images/boot/' I get the same 450 error message.
But, in manual mode, I can 'get' individual files if I specify them and I can 'cd Ddrive/suse/images/boot/' and 'dir' to see all the files. Owner is user/group which is why I tried creating an ftp login 'user'.
Are there parameters in the DEBUG mode I should be specifying? Any FTP Install documentation?
Thanks, Steve
