Hi there, I'm stomped on this one maybe someone else has a clue. Last week I reinstalled 8.0 and decided to use Secure as the default security setting. However it now made it require root pwd to shut down and reboot. So while trying to reverse that I've started Yast and changed shutdown behaviour to Local users, and changed file permissions to easy. I've gone through seemingly every config file I can find but not been able to discover where the settings are. In other words I'm now forced to enter root passwd every time I shut down apparently regrdless what Yast says. Probably a bug, but I may just have stared myself blind on something and cannot see what is right in front of me. Any ideas? -- Steve _____________________________________________________________ HTML in e-mail is not safe.
