The gimp-print ::team is also quite responsive to questions and bug reports. Besides that, ::gimp-print has a great user's guide (but I'm not biased since I wrote it). :::-) :: ::You can find more information about the gimp-print software from: :: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-print/ :: ::If you try this, definitely get the latest software. :: ::Don't be deceived by the name gimp-print. The name is historical in nature, ::as the project was originally a print plugin for the GIMP. Now, it serves ::that function as well as supplying printer drivers for CUPS, Ghostscript, and ::Foomatic. I can second that CUPS + Gimp-print works great for me with my Epson 880 Color Stylus. I haven't had any issues accept KUPS works 1/2 assed in KDE 3.0.1 for me. I used the web UI to configure it and it rocks. I've never printed better from SO 6.0 and Mutt which are what I print from 99% of the time. -=Ben --=====-----=====-- mailto:ben@whack.org --=====-- If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little. -GC --=====-----=====--
