Try this. Create a file, test.sh, with this: - - - - #!/bin/bash gs -q -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -dSAFER -sDEVICE=pswrite -sOutputFile=/tmp/test.ps -c save pop -f test.pdf - - - - (the gs command is on one line) on the command line type
at now (at will prompt for the command to be run. Type:) test.sh Ctrl-D
If it behaves as my atd scheduler does, it will start a sh process that will loop gs infinitely. I've tried on both 7.3 and 8.0. Is this the expected behavior of at? How can I run a shell script with gs, pdf2ps or whatever I want to put inside my script???
