It would be interesting to see if anybody else can produce the crash using the above sequence of events.

Yes, crashes mine too. I tried backing five times on plain web pages but it did not crash on that. (I reported it to KDE.)
Hi Steve. Thanks for trying it. I reported the probelm to KDE in the past bug report no. #42188 but I didn't have the above sequence. I have hust update the report to add the sequence. Regards Steven.
