Hi Jerry, Thanks for your quick response. I do appreciate it. Followed your direction, I already checked my routing table with the netstat -nr command. I noticed that I have the same information on both servers. I did go to YaST2 (Network Basic) then learn that the automatic address setup (via DHCP) is checked. My conclusion is the Oracle server does not have a static ip address. Any ideas? Please let me know your solution for this problem. Thanks for your help.
