Hi. Well done. Still nothing here. The sensors documentation is good so I do: sensors-detect and the script modprobes stuff and tells me to include a line in /etc/modules.conf I reinit and run sensors but still get no sensors detected. Maybe my processor/motherboard doesn't have sensors? It's a PIV anout 4 weeks old. Any ideas anyone? Thanks for your patience, Steve. On Thursday 30 May 2002 09:34, FX Fraipont wrote:

You are missing low-level modules. For example, my Tyan Tiger 230 motherboard requires

Cool (joke)!
I have been following this thread from a distance, have tried the various suggestions, could not get any temp sensor to display any information (I have an MSI K7T PRO2A MB), but this did the trick:
via686a-isa-6000 Adapter: ISA adapter Algorithm: ISA algorithm CPU core: +1.68 V (min = +1.79 V, max = +2.18 V) ALARM +2.5V: +0.25 V (min = +2.24 V, max = +2.74 V) ALARM I/O: +3.28 V (min = +3.03 V, max = +3.36 V) +5V: +4.84 V (min = +4.60 V, max = +5.07 V) +12V: +11.80 V (min = +11.03 V, max = +12.16 V) CPU Fan: 5769 RPM (min = 7500 RPM, div = 2) ALARM P/S Fan: 0 RPM (min = 7670 RPM, div = 2) SYS Temp: +43.3°C (limit = +60°C, hysteresis = +50°C) CPU Temp: +37.7°C (limit = +60°C, hysteresis = +50°C) SBr Temp: +26.4°C (limit = +60°C, hysteresis = +50°C)
You've made another SuSE user happy...
Thanks
